With an 11.5 kW onboard charger for AC charging at home and DC fast-charging capability of up to 190 kW, you can add an estimated 78 miles of range to the Blazer EV in around 10 minutes, as long as the Level 3 charger you’re using can charge at that rate.
Things start to get really interesting with the top-of-the-line SS model, which has a WOW (Wide Open Watts) mode that delivers up to 564 horsepower and 684 lb.-ft. of torque, and a 0 to 60 mph time under four seconds. On top of that, the Blazer EV is the first vehicle of its type to be available in dual-motor AWD, single-motor front-wheel drive, and single-motor rear-wheel drive formats.
It would be a travesty if a vehicle as futuristically styled and powered as the Blazer EV lacked the latest technology, but there’s no danger of that here. The dash of every model sets the high-tech tone inside the 2024 Blazer EV with a 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster. Many of the latest driver-assist features are standard across the lineup, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection front and rear, active lane control, and automatic high beams.
