All-New 2021 GMC Yukon for Sale in Stanleytown, VA

Next Generation Yukon

The all-new 2021 GMC Yukon is a full-size SUV for those who want to make a big impression. Its stunning exterior styling will turn heads wherever you go, but it’s every bit as practical as it is impressively imposing.

The Yukon can seat up to nine people in considerable comfort, and there’s plenty of room left in this expanded model for them to take their belongings with them. The new Yukon looks great, it’s incredibly versatile, it’s lavishly equipped with the very latest features and tech, and it can tow in a way the average crossover can only dream of.

Modern and stylish but still a Beast

This year, the styling of this all-new fifth-generation Yukon takes something of a diversion with the addition of a new AT4 trim level. While the Denali is still there with its lashings of chrome and upscale swagger, the AT4 goes down a slightly different and more menacing route with a blacked-out look that advertises the increased off-road capability of this new addition to the Yukon family.

Whichever version of the 2021 GMC Yukon you choose to go for you’ll have a full-size SUV that looks as though it can handle anything, and the impression it gives goes more than just skin deep.

There’s no denying the fact the Yukon is a very close relative of the fabulous Sierra 1500 pickup truck it shares a platform and plenty more with,  but the Yukon this looks far more than just a Sierra with a hardtop on the back and some extra seats. Whichever version of the all-new Yukon you go for, it’ll be a while before you get bored of looking at it and cleaning it.

Three Great Choices

2021 GMC Yukon trim levels

When you decide it’s time to go and buy your new 2021 Yukon you’ll have three very distinct trim levels to choose between. The entry-level model is the SLT, and then you have two more models that really should be considered co-headliners. These are the legendary Denali and the AT4, which both come packed to the doors with luxury and features but which have distinctly different characters.

Of course, you could say that there are more choices than just the three as there are also the long-wheelbase Yukon XL versions to consider too, but the features and equipment conform to the same grades as the short-wheelbase Yukon. All versions other than the AT4 are standard rear-wheel-drive with four-wheel-drive available as an option, but the extra off-road capable AT4 is standard four-wheel-drive.

A Big Triple-Header

Even though the Yukon has had a thoroughly modern redesign this time around, GMC has resisted the temptation to do anything controversial in the engine department. Don’t bother looking for any small-displacement, high-revving, six or even four-cylinder turbo engines under the hood of a Yukon. Instead, you’ll find a couple of fabulous gas V-8s and the further option of a turbodiesel.

The standard engine in most cases is GM’s familiar 5.3-liter V-8, which in this case puts out a more than respectable 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque and is more than adequate for the majority of buyers. All that power goes to the rear or all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission that’s also new this year.

If you want or need more power than that, the Yukon Denali gets you a standard 6.2-liter V-8 that ups the power ante to 420 horsepower and a pretty substantial 460 lb.-ft. of torque. There’s also a 3.0-liter inline-six turbodiesel for those who want the same torque for towing as the 6.2-liter V-8, but with better fuel economy.

For further evidence of just how much of a redesign and new-generation this is for the Yukon, how about the fact it rides on a four-wheel independent suspension setup for the very first time? The suspension can be further upgraded to an air suspension system that can be raised and lowered as long as you’re looking at the AT4 or Denali trim levels.

It’s hard to explain just what a leap forward the all-new 2021 GMC Yukon represents, so don’t just take our word for it. Come and check it out for yourself on a test drive by visiting GR Chevrolet at our dealership you’ll find conveniently located at 930 Fairystone Park Hwy, Stanleytown VA.
